OFER & LJUDAN

Our love for sharing our knowledge with others in our respective healing modalities has led us to create the imove centre. A resurrected meditation hall from Byron Ambaji Wellness Centre relocated to our property.

Once we settle in with the birth of our next child due in August we hope to be running 1 day workshops on ourproperty. We are currently in the process of building a sweat lodge and landscaping the grounds.

OFER MICHAELIS

‘The inner essence of taiji flows down from genuine teacher’s  to sincere pupils in unbroken chains.’
Master Patrick Kelly (extract from his book Relax Deep Mind)

I have learnt the Yang StyleTaiji system from my teacher Master Patrick Kelly who trained under the tutelage of Master Huang (Malaysia ). This system’s emphasis is on internal harmonisation rather than fighting.  Huang chose Patrick to be his voice in the Western world and encouraged him to teach a training system  that arose from his individual understanding.
Thus it is where I stand now after 14 years following the Yang Style Taiji, sharing with my pupils through the inner essence of the unbroken chain.  Thus allowing my intuition to deepen and my teaching to be pure and authentic.

My other key mentors have been Dan Russell for Hypnotherapy, Tai Chi Chuan & Gojuryu Karate, George Andrews in Gojuryu Karate, Graeme & Leaonie Northfield in Ashtanga Yoga. I studied intensively with these mentors over a period of 10 years predominantly in the UK and Europe. SInce settling in Australia 4 years ago I have focussed predominantly on Taiji and Chi Kung, teaching & practising on the NSW Far North Coast & Brisbane.

LJUDAN MICHAELIS

I work independently running transformational dance classes in kundalini dance and dance magic. I co-produce ‘So You Think You Can Trance’ with Dj Nick Taylor and cofacilitate Dance of the Goddess with Kate Little.  I am also a professional facilitator & presenter for Yoga Solutions doing corporate seminars in the Queensland and Far North Coast Regions. I do private dance therapy sessions and intuitive readings.
Since 1993 I have been facilitating classes, private sessions and workshops in predominantly dance oriented transformational work or personal development experimental formats. I have also coordinated festivals, theatre productions & community events applying the same transformational fundamental principles.
In 2005 I had the honour of guiding my first mentor Leyolah Antara in running her first Kundalini Dance Facilitator Training. She is now teaching her trainings in Sydney, Bali & USA with great success. As such I am now an accredited Kundalini Dance Facilitator.
The History After many years of personal growth and inner exploration I began to find studies that would enable me to continue growing and bring others on the journey with me. Leyolah Antara Dekanic was my first mentor ... who encouraged me to embark on the ecstatic dance teaching path. Lee Oldershaw gave me the tools in her training to become a professional facilitator in the Findhorn Foundation Format. I studied dance movement therapy externally in Lismore with Marcia Levanthal, this gave me practical therapist knowledge. I completed an Associate Degree in Health Sciences majoring in Aboriginal Health & Community Development, this gave me community communication skills and an insight into my own Aboriginality.
Then a pivotal point came when I began training as a trainer in the transformational work called 'Living From Greatness' by William Whitecloud. (now known as the Magicians way)  I had to face all my demons, surrender to my fears and open my heart even further. He showed me how to step into my greatness and to see it in others and above all else how to truly be of service to others as a workshop facilitator.
